Promoting European values and youth participation across the Berat Region
Implemented by New Bridges in cooperation with the European Integration Units of the municipalities of Berat, Dimal, Kuçovë, Skrapar, and Poliçan, the project “Youth for Europe” aimed to promote European values, youth participation, and awareness about the European Union among high school students in the Berat Region.
The initiative was implemented in five high schools across the five municipalities and included information sessions, discussions on EU opportunities and active citizenship, as well as an essay competition on the theme “Why I Want to Be Part of the European Union.”
The project concluded with a regional event during Europe Week, bringing together students, local representatives, and stakeholders to encourage dialogue on European integration and the role of youth in shaping the future of their communities.
