New Bridges
New Bridges is a national civil society organization founded in 2017, with strong local roots in the Berat region. The organization works to empower youth and communities through civic engagement, capacity building, environmental sustainability, good governance, and inclusive community development across Albania. Through trainings, advocacy, community initiatives, and partnerships with local institutions, New Bridges promotes active citizenship, digital innovation, gender equality, employability, and social inclusion.
We empower young people through civic participation, digital skills, leadership, and innovation opportunities. Through trainings, workshops, exchanges, and community initiatives, we encourage youth to become active citizens, contribute to decision-making processes, and build skills for employment, inclusion, and social impact.
We promote environmental awareness and local action for climate resilience and sustainable communities. Our work supports youth-led environmental initiatives, biodiversity protection, recycling and waste reduction campaigns, and community engagement focused on creating greener and healthier local environments.
We encourage transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in local and national decision-making. Through advocacy, civic education, dialogue with institutions, and community consultations, we strengthen democratic participation and promote inclusive governance processes.
